I definitely won't be returning. The staff were very kind and friendly, but unfortunately, the food wasn't good based on what I tried.
My husband and I have been regulars at Los Tarascos for many years. He recalls when it was a quaint little spot further down Skyland. We just enjoyed another delightful meal there, and I'm thrilled that this restaurant has persevered through the challenges we've all faced during the pandemic. The reason for their success is clear: they consistently deliver great food. It's almost impossible to sit down without having salsa and chips at your table within moments. The frozen margarita is phenomenal (though there’s one in Sebring, Florida that might give it a run for its money). The steak shish kebab is absolutely delicious. But what truly stands out is the service. Tonight, we even received T-shirts, and we are so grateful to have this restaurant in our lives. A special shout-out to the amazing servers who have been there for years, as well as the newcomers. You all make this restaurant truly memorable!
I went with my parents yesterday because I always passed this restaurant when going to work, but never had the chance to eat. It is a very cozy, homestyle-feeling place, and it has a selection of burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and more. You choose your own filling, sort of like Chipotle. There were beautiful Mexican murals on the wall, and soft drinks were free with the purchase of a meal. I'm not Mexican, but it felt very authentic. There is outdoor seating as well, which is nice for the warmer days. The woman who greeted us as we walked in and made our food was very sweet. The food was very delicious and filling, and we will definitely be coming again.
Service was great w/ a smile!Beans and corn tortillas were really awesome! We orders the 3 item combination lunch plates. It's was too much for me, but enough for my husband. A little disappointed on the birria tacos. Being from Texas, they were not what I am used to. Usually made with corn and deep fried crispy with goat meat. Salsa didn't wow me.
