Animal Butter - Tuscaloosa

This was my first visit, and I tried the Brussels sprouts and the Orzo macaroni and cheese, both of which were fantastic. I also ordered the pork tacos, and they were excellent. Although there were just two tacos, they were packed full and quite satisfying!

This was the finest dining experience I've had in my four years of living and eating in Tuscaloosa. The service was both friendly and prompt. The owner came by to introduce himself and was approachable for any questions or requests we had. The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. We'll definitely be returning soon!

This restaurant offers exciting fusion dishes at reasonable prices, and the staff are very friendly. Sitting at the counter with a view of the front window adds to the experience. The hot chicken bao buns were outstanding!

I downloaded this app specifically to review this restaurant. Every dish was expertly paired and bursting with flavor. Everything was fresh, delicious, and delightfully creative. By the end of the meal, I found myself wishing for an extra stomach just to keep enjoying more. When I'm there, I feel transported from Tuscaloosa in the best way possible. It's astonishing that this little town offers such fresh, exciting, and playful cuisine. I highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich, and you absolutely cannot miss the Brussels sprouts. They're fried, but not deep-fried in batter—just perfectly crispy on the edges, and the accompanying sauce... it deserves a poem! It's tangy with a hint of sweetness, and it complements the Brussels sprouts perfectly. It's honestly incredible how good it is. I can't wait to return!
