Hare Copper Eatery Turangi

The food was delicious and they treated us real nicely. The waitress was very kind and explained us what the plates were for us being foreigners and have a lot of patience with us. We enjoyed it a lot!!!

Absolutely fantastic food! I highly recommend the beetroot and goat cheese salad, the pork dumplings in chili oil broth, and the cumin-spiced lamb meatballs. They were so delicious that we're planning to return tomorrow to try some dishes we didn't have room for tonight! The staff was wonderful and very attentive. They also have a great selection of wine and beer. Plus, there's a lovely outdoor patio and lawn games to enjoy!

The Hare Copper is a fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious, expertly crafted in both flavor and presentation. We tried the Popcorn Chicken, Beetroot Salad, and Sautéed Prawns, all of which were outstanding, with the sautéed prawns being a standout dish—the sauce was so tasty that we ended up drinking every last drop! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, decorated with charming themes and offering a stunning view of the lush outdoor area. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating, even letting us try on different sizes of the shirts they sell. I highly recommend The Hare Copper; the only downside was that there were no dessert options available at lunchtime!

Me and my mom and dad really enjoyed the food such lovely staff as well they know how to make their customers eyes light up with delicious food and drinks we were in NZ for a holiday from Australia and I highly recommend going there for lunch or dinner xxxx

We decided to stop here while passing through town, and we absolutely loved our meal! The tapas-style dishes were exceptionally well done. I also enjoyed a fantastic margarita. Thankfully, they managed to accommodate us without a reservation, which we really appreciated since they were quite busy. The service was a bit slower than we're accustomed to, but it seemed understandable given how full they were. The staff was very friendly, the ambiance was charming, and overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
