The Old Tubac Inn

They absolutely adore this place! It has a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere and offers creative food and drinks.

My wife and our friend decided to share a half-order of ribs, while I opted for the pulled pork sandwich. Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. After we found a table, our server came over to take our drink orders. We all chose margaritas, but when they arrived, mine was only half full, while the others were about three-quarters full. Fifteen minutes later, our server informed us that the kitchen was ready to take our food order. We were surprised, as we’d already been waiting quite some time. We ordered some potato chips, the half-order of ribs for my wife and friend, and my pulled pork sandwich. After a 29-minute wait, the server returned to inform us that they had dropped the ribs on the floor and that was the last of the half-racks. They only had full racks available, which they couldn't split. They ended up ordering shrimp tacos instead. To make matters worse, the potato chips were rancid and completely inedible, while the shrimp tacos were greasy and unpleasant. My pulled pork sandwich arrived without any BBQ sauce, making it rather disappointing. Overall, it was a dismal outing to Tubac that left us feeling frustrated. On top of that, there was live music that wasn’t very good and it was played so loudly that we struggled to hold a conversation. It was incredibly disappointing, and we won’t be returning anytime soon.

We tried Tubac Jacks based on. Coupon sent to us. First, even though we each had coupons they would only honor one, unless one couple would move to another table. The food was marginal, it was over priced. They charged extra for many things including sour cream, that most restaurants provide as part of the meal. The service was okay. The idea of couponing is to get people to try their restaurant , well we did and we won’t come back. Not a good experience
