Habanero's Mexican Tubac Arizona

This restaurant has amazing food and their mole is top notch. I ordered the enmoladas. They are chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. So fresh and the sauce has the perfect mix of peppers and chocolate. They even sold me a container of sauce so I can make some at home.We live 60 miles away but can always justify a trip to Tubac and Habaneros. You need to go eat there now!

I came in a little bit late towards closing, I ordered the Molé, would’ve been wonderful except the Molé was mixed with the chicken so there was nothing on the plate to clean my pallet on, besides beans and rice, I don’t eat beans and rice,, I kindly asked for The plate to be returned and as it was late I didn’t want to trouble the cook for another dish, then all of a sudden a drunk patron, out of nowhere, in the bar area, threatened my life because I couldn’t eat the dish!!! Next thing I know I’m throwing a $50 in the air and start running for the door! What the F Tubac?!

There were more flies in the restaurant than outside.The hostess greeted us and said it would be 15-20 minutes to order food because it was getting warmed up?The food was not appetizing. My torta had old guacamole inside it and old cabbage.I traveled to eat at this restaurant and it was disappointing because we had much better variety in the town of Tucson.

Some of the food is outstanding but others mediocre. I'm a French fry person and their french fries are great but what I had , the three different enchiladas, they were dry and lacking in flavors that I would expect for three different flavors. The chicken was tasteless, hardly any sauce on each of the enchiladas!!Food: 3/5
