Sidestreet Pizza Pasta - Tryon

Always the best...I highly recommend Side Street Pizza for the whole family..

The food was delicious. The dinner area feels a little cramped to me, with a lot of people it can get loud hard to even think. Has kind of an older small town vibe. The garlic cheesy bread that we had was amazing, definitely would recommend.

Small town local MA and PA pizza joint in Tryon NC. But with large city service and quality. Expect a wait. Not because they don't have a 20 plus staff, but because it's that good. And people come from miles around. We drove 30 miles. The pizza is great. Perfect crust. Right amount of crunch and chew. Perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings. We had the medium pepperoni. The pasta dishes are awesome. Fresh, hot, and cooked Perfectly. Ours was the Meaty pasta bake. The wings? Has to be the best if not top two I've had in my LIFE. YEAH! That good. They are twice cooked because they are that big and juicy. Super crispy, tender, and full of flavor. I got the Joe's Hot. Their hottest. Great flavor. Finger licking great. Friday night at 5.30 pm. 45 min wait. But worth every minute. Even with the restaurant at capacity. The food was perfect and cooked fresh. The atmosphere is unique and rustic. Take a drive to the NC SC mountains and have a slice of pizza pie with a cold local brew.

This place came highly recommended. We were seated and after getting our drinks, we were asked to move tables to accommodate a large party. No problem, as they sat us near a window. The waitress was pretty awesome by answering our newbies questions. We started with the cheesy garlic loaf (half). It arrived very quickly and was HUGE! It was my favorite of all, including the marinara sauce... I ordered the baked pasta dinner with a side salad and my husband ordered the meatball sub with potato salad side. My salad was served in a timely manner and not long after, they brought my husband's dinner but not my pasta dish. Respectfully, he has always waited to eat the main course with me. Approximately 10 minutes later, my dish arrived.. Although, the presentation was beautiful when it was served... I was extremely disappointed that underneath it's beauty, it was swimming in poorly drained pasta water. Instantly, my inner Gordon Ramsay set in! I didn't make a scene, but I did carefully drain the water in an empty container nearby. I could taste the dish potential but the water ruined the flavors. My husband loved his meal, especially the potato salad. (I personally doctored my leftovers for our next nights dinner, adding zucchini, garlic and fresh parmesan)

Came in with large group and we were all served in a timely manner and food was great!
