Sticks Market - Truckee

Quintessential lakeside store but very high quality everything. We call it the Beer Boutique . New (to me) is their store branded spices. A short walk for us almost always saves us a drive to Safeway.

They don't have a lot of everything but they've got just enough of an inventory to where they probably have what you need in a pinch to save you from having to run all the way into town friendly customer service and easy to find right on the main street

Cool little place near Donner Lake. Solid sandwiches, great picnic food and a robust beer selection. Felt bad for the only dude working there doing the register and sandwich spot but he kills it. I got the Turkey BLT and the Tahoe Tessie which were both good. Tahoe Tessie is def my recommendation. Beer wise they had a solid selection and a lot of charcuterie options. If you are at Donner Lake, this is your go to. All sandwiches are Boars Head meat so you are getting good juicy meats. Bread is fresh and toppings are fresh. No complaints here.

Small town market with good service. We use this place for the small odds and ends we forgot or don't want a full supermarket for.

Literally a one stop shop. This is a great little market and Not just for picking up ice. You could make full on meals with their produce and refrigerated goods and lots of spices and condiments. Lots of goodies here.
