Sierra Bakehouse - Truckee

The service here is excellent, thanks to a friendly and helpful staff. The galettes, brownies, and biscuits are all scrumptious! The sourdough bread with sesame seeds is fantastic as well! I can't praise this wonderful bakery enough.

Honestly, my only complaint about this bakery is that they are only open on Fridays, but maybe that’s a good thing since I shouldn’t go there too often. The food is fantastic, the people are friendly, and I love bumping into friends when I’m there. It’s Truckee’s best-kept secret!

I made the best choice to get pumpkin pie and veggie quiche for Thanksgiving at Sierra Bakery. My sister, who doesn’t usually like pumpkin pie, tried a slice and loved it. There was no stress involved at all. My friend even said it was the best quiche he had ever tasted!

Damn delicious. only Fridays when you're here, you have to go!

Hands down THE BEST bakery in all of Truckee and Tahoe. Kristy, a co owner, does a phenomenal job. You will not be disappointed whether you want sweet, savory, or a combo of both, this bakery has it. Head over on a Friday morning and get multiple items your taste buds will thank you! And if you are ever considering ordering local pies over a holiday, they are once again mouth watering delicious! Been here more times than I can count and will be back again and again.
