Jack's Cafe - Tremont

There is obviously confusion between waitstaff and the kitchen. Had to ask for bread after people who were seated after us got some. We were told they were out, but then they found some. Seems like the bread is hidden from the staff. Ordered the special and 5 minutes after the other party members got their food I was informed that they were out of the special. I asked what they could get out quick and ordered that and to make up for the mistake they comped my fries and gave me a desert which I appreciated. Overall the meal was acceptable, but a frustrating experience.

Decent food good vegetable soup just dont give enough of it maybe try all you can eat soupWent back to Jack's last night ordered the fried chicken which was great but I was disappointed with their vegetable soup was Luke warm at best but what I didn't like was the addition of broccoli an cauliflower in their vegetable soup it overpowered the other veggies in the soup didn't taste like the soup I had gotten before my suggestion to you guys is leave the broccoli an cauliflower out of your soup thank you

The staff is great and the food is always good. Love stopping by jacks whenever I’m in town.
