Yum Bar - Townsville

I walked into this coffee shop one Friday morning before heading to the supermarket to do grocery shopping. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The shop is super clean, the food is very well presented with plenty of healthy options and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I did not buy any food that morning but will certainly return to try some food. The coffee was perfect.

I found this fantastic cafe serving healthy foods lin the Vincent Village Shopping Complex. Every time I visit they have introduced new items to their menu. Everything they make is super healthy from breakfast granola to protein smoothies & fresh juices to gluten free buckwheat quiches & wraps. They also sell healthy cakes & slices. It's gluten free heaven with so many options on their menu. I've eaten their Chicken & Asparagus Quiches & they are so tasty. Today I tried their Chicken & Asian Salad Buckwheat wrap & it was really flavoursome. Their gluten free slices are made with healthy ingredients like stevia (natural sugar substitute), carrots & walnuts. Every item sold has a calorie label which is very helpful if you are watching your weight. I will definitely return to this cafe very soon.

If you're looking for a healthy alternative that taste good then check this place out! Great range of food to pick from which is complimented by excellent friendly service. Good range of cakes, muffins & slices (some are gluten free) that can be served with a nice hot drink. Access is easy with plenty of parking due to being located near a Newsagency, Woolworths, Hairdresser, Prices Plus, Celebrations Bottle Shop & Tobacco Shop.

Fantastic food and service is excellent. My favourite, chicken rice paper rolls are divine. I have had the lasagna as well and would highly recommend. Great coffee too. Do yourself a favour and get into Yum Bar!

The best protein balls EVER! Lunches are nice too. And almost everything available has calories and nutritional labelling.
