Stagedoor Theatre Restuarant

Went to stage door theatre last night and i can safely say really great night out! Good food! Funny jokes! Nice people! I will be back like arnold Schwarzenegger says.Drinks are a little on the expensive, but really didnt need the buzz to enjoy the fun. Worth a look. Well done captain martini and pearl e gates. Thanks for taking us on a trip to purgatory!!!

This is a great bit of entertainment on Magnetic island. The show includes a three course meal which was really quite nice and then the musical drama itself. We went to the Time Warp, the productions do change and there are at least two more before the end of 2017. For a fun night out with plenty of laughs and some great talented voices, the Stage Door is well worth a visit. you can book ahead on ticketek.

Going to the Statedoor Theatre Restaurant is quite an experience. While the food is not fantastic it is quite good, and the performers were great. We had a jolly good time. The performers are very good at interacting with the audience and there were lots of laughs. After the show the bus nearby took us back to our holiday accommodation.

Heard great things about the show, but it was terribly average. Singing off key and partial choreography are what I remember most.We went for the Time Warp expecting something more Rocky Horror Picture show then what was presented..a mismatch of random songs with limited linkage to Rocky Horror.The theatre is an old open air restaurant with inadequate fans. It was excruciatingly hot with no respite. Half our party left at intermission.The finale was a preview of their next show which they let the audience know was a revival of a previous show. This number was their best. I wonder why they just didn't go with that show? Perhaps my Rocky Horror expectations were just too high... Oh, the intoxicated friend of the cast in the audience...yelling out was annoying as well.

The Stagedoor Theatre Restaurant is a must for all locals and visitors alike. Our friends and us have been several times and the show, the food and the staff never disappoint. A Must Do when in Townsville or on Magnetic Island
