Jewel of India - Townsville

I orded multiple curries and a beef vindaloo which I asked for extra hot, it was full of flavour yet lacking the punch I was after. Their samosa and bahji are exceptional and roti was well cooked and not overly oily. Will be back again and definitely recommend this place.

This place was yummy!! The decor was a little tacky, but the food more than made up for it. We ordered lamb madras hot and a medium heat butter chicken. The meat in both curries was tender and the sauce delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for good Indian food

Delicious naan bread, we had the goat curry - it was great and the daal tadka which was delicious! Service was good, oh and the onion baji is the best in Town ????????

Service and price was good but that is where it ended. Order medium heat butter chicken and it had no flavour at all. Naan bread seemed like it was reheated from a packet and had no garlic taste. If you want good Indian, go to masala.

The Indian food is some of the best I've ever experienced in Australia. I'm in love with their tamarind sauce over the huge vegetable samosas, really eXcellant value
