Edison Street Seafood - Townsville

The fish is delicious and generously portioned, and the price is very reasonable for the size. The staff who served us were delightful.

The chips need to be cooked better and the fish is not up to par.

I recommend ordering the works burger, as it is incredibly large - almost the size of a small child. The portion sizes of the meals are huge, as we found out when we ordered two scoops of chips for five people and most of it went to waste because we couldn't finish it all. One scoop would have been more than enough to share with our fish and burgers. My only complaint is that the restaurant is not located in Brisbane where I live, as I don't think I'll have the opportunity to enjoy their food again before leaving for Brisbane tomorrow. If only I had discovered this place earlier during my stay, although I'm now grateful that I didn't because I would have had to buy another plane seat due to all the weight I would have gained from eating there regularly. Overall, I highly recommend ordering from this restaurant.

Chips and the fish cakes were kinda dry. But calamari, chicken kiev, scallops, and beef croquettes were good. Chicken nuggets good too. Prices were more affordable than other fish n chip shops.

Excellent food...large pieces of fish and good chips.
