Applebee's - Topeka

I was disappointed to learn that Applebee's has revamped their Happy Hour. They've eliminated the half-price appetizers from 3 to 6 PM, and now only offer drink specials from 3 to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, and all day on Sundays. While appetizers are still half-priced, it’s not quite the same.

I wouldn’t recommend the ribs; they taste like they were frozen and just doused in barbecue sauce.

First off I waited 30 minutes just to get a table. Then I'm still wait as I'm typing rn on my food. Like I ain't order it a hour ago. The audacity of this restaurant. I just wanna eat my wings ps. bathroom smells bad.

To start our night, the hostess (Serena) went to sit us in the bar at hightop tables. I asked if we could be seated at a low table and pointed to the 5 to 6 that were empty. She says no... I stopped her there and said if we can 't be seated at a comfortable table we can go to another restaurant. Well she decided we could be seated at a lower (regular) table and grudgingly walked us to a table directly in front of a AC vent so we moved to another table. I figured if they didn 't like it we could leave! We spent our time waiting for our food watching others ask her the same...not to sit in bar. I counted 6 others and quit. You 'd think she would learn to ask table or booth and then if in the bar was fine! Our server and food was awesome! The little hostess needs to not roll her eyes at the customer!!
