Mahana Fresh - Toms River

We tried Mahana Fresh this evening and we are fans. Food was very good. I got the Big Mahana bowl shown in the pictures grilled steak, BBQ chicken, basmati rice, couliflower rice, brussel sprouts, mushrooms and creamy wasabi sauce. I can tell you it was excellent. Everything fresh with great flavors. I highly recommend the place.

Mahana not so fresh , look close before you buy it FOOD was not good. I have never seen roasted sweet potatoes that were not peeled but even if I was ok with that the sweet potatoes were completely BLACK, and not over cooked black like rotten black. Avocado which was $2.00 for a tiny cup of mashed avocado. Tasted horrible The teriyaki chicken was not bad and the pork was good. I really like this place! A fantastic lunch spot. Almost everything is gluten free and a bit healthier with some really great options. Always love stopping here when nearby.

I?m hooked. I?ll probably go there once a week and take extras to go. The portions are the right size to make you full without feeling bloated. Great flavors and lots of variety. I?ve had 3 signature bowls in the last 24 hours, each one totally different. Not sure if it?s actually healthy but it?s better than any of the major brands of fast food.

My wife and I simply love this place. Gluten free menus, and plenty of options! Service is quick and friendly. Any health conscious individual would feel free to indulge.
