Tilted Loon Saloon - Tomahawk

Lovely scenery but it took us 1-1/2 hours to get our lunch. Everything arrived cold...bun on one burger hard as a rock. Had two local guests who commented they would not return. Not a good thing to carry through non-tourist season.Seems there isn't any real Management to properly train the staff.

Our server seemed more focused on her friends than on us. When we sat down, there were still dishes on the table from previous customers. She cleared them away but then returned to chat with her friends instead of attending to us. Eventually, she came back to ask what we would like to drink, and I requested that she clean and sanitize the table. This was around 11:30. Despite the service, the food was outstanding, and the facilities were very clean. We were actually considering leaving due to her lack of attention. We were seated at a nice table by the lake, near the entrance.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and there’s lovely outdoor seating by the water.

I understand that times are tough, but I was really let down by my recent experience. I placed an online order and received a confirmation email with the estimated pick-up time. I even arrived 5 minutes early, but that turned out to be a mistake; I should have taken a nap and arrived an hour late, and I still would have been on time. It's less than a 10-minute drive from the restaurant to my home, but when I finally got my food, it was cold. To sum it up, it took 75 minutes for my food to be ready. To make matters worse, I ordered online and even left a tip, which made the whole experience feel even worse.

The low score for the atmosphere was due to the heat inside the restaurant. One window air conditioning unit simply isn't sufficient. It would be wise to invest in an upgrade. The poor waitstaff were visibly sweating as they rushed around.
