Przekaż informację zwrotną..... but I'm glad to do so in this case. My wife and I stopped in as we waited for the whale watching to form up. My wife had been told that the place to buy tickets for the whale watching tour was at the cafe, and we kidded each other on how that was just a marketing ploy to get people to eat there. We could not have been more wrong! The food at the Petit Passage Cafe was delicious, fresh, ample portions, served with pride and cheer by a crew of very busy ladies who seem to enjoy their jobs. If you have not had their Lobster Club sandwich - priced at an unbelievable $12 and change (Canadian) - then you have never enjoyed cold lobster. The place is not easy to find but it's well worth the trip even if you're not combining it with a whale watching tour. We'll gladly go back just for lunch if we ever return to Prince Edward Island.JL
We stopped for a quick lunch before the whale trip: the lobster roll alone was worth the journey. I'm told this is fresh prepared in the morning lobster and not frozen like others. To my untrained mouth you could tell - it was amazing. Also a total bargain at $11.50 (min 5 dollars less than anywhere else we can find) no doubt as the lobster is caught by the guy who runs the whale watching!
Great food , excellent service and a beautiful spot! The deck was a gorgeous place to hang out while we waited for the whale watch. Breathtaking views!
I wouldn’t necessarily recommend a special trip out to this cafeteria-style eatery, but Petit Passage Cafe more than met our needs for a casual lunch after our whale-watching tour. Despite having to deal with a never-ending line of customers, the staff didn’t seem stressed, even indulging my hunt for the biggest lobster in their live tank. While it would be an exaggeration to rate our meal as being above-average (hence my still-respectable 3-star review), even the average experience of cracking into a well-cooked lobster on an outdoor patio is one of life’s perfect pleasures.●●●○○ Food●●●○○ Service●●●●○ Value●●●○○ Atmosphere
Stopped in for lunch while waiting for the ferry. Lentil soup was amazing as was the seafood chowder. The ladies working there were genuinely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The only reason this is not a 5 is that the Coconut Cream Pie ordered was not as fabulous as the other food - crust was flakely but unflavorful and filling was just ok. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE!
