Ed's Take Out & Christina's - Digby

We enjoy our scallops. They have the best deep fried scallops. The order had about 13 large scallops. For the price we paid this truly was the best meal we had in Digby. The next time we are in Digby we will be eating here again, more than likely twice.

I am a Digby local, and take it from me - Ed's takeout is a great place for seafood and burgers. Portions tend to be generous and prices are pretty good for fresh seafood and burgers. The haddie bits are delicious (and inexpensive). Today we tried a scallop roll ( in honour of Digby Scallop Days) and a double cheeseburger - $12 for both - There are a few eat in tables and picnic tables outside. Many order takeout. Great spot where the locals eat - not fancy but super, local food- they take cash only.

I't just a little place, more of a takeout, although I think you can eat in if you want. The clams and fries were awesome!!

Food was absolutely fabulous! The portion was huge. The food was delicious! I had the Fried Scallops Platter. My wife had the Fish and Chips Platter. Couldn't be more pleased. Service was great. The help couldn't have been nicer! Definitely recommend!

A friend suggested Eds for a quick bite on our way out of town, they said it doesn't look great but the foods good, they were RIGHT , we had fish and chips one of the best in Nova Scotia and a cheeseburger, the BEST in Nova Scotia , the girls were very friendly , it was a surprisingly great meal!
