Cafe Bamby - Titisee-Neustadt - Titisee

Today we started the morning at Cafe Bamby. Fast and polite service. Very good cafe and tasty cakes.

We stopped in to buy cake to take back to our room. The cakes were very good and not overpriced. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The Cafe is good located in the station. Inside it is not nice to sit, the chairs arn´t comfortabel for older people. The drinks are overpriced. Overpriced, because the cups are quite small (see picture). The cakes are fine and size is ok.

This café + bakery is located in the station of Titisee and it's just perfect for a quick meal while you're waiting for the train or for a short break during your visit to this little village, being just few blocks away from the lake and the pedestrian area. It offers a big variety of bread, bretzel, muffins, sweets including some intriguing cakes with cream that you can eat there with a coffee or a tea. Everything is fresh made. You can take it away or you can sit at one of their modern tables and enjoy your food in a modern room, with a simple but nice decoration. The hot beverages are from the machine, but there's an interesting selection of tea, including my favorite darjeeling. I tried their Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, the most typical cake of this region, and it was really delicious. The staff is made of friendly girls who speak a very good English. The prices are ok, you can have good quality food without spending too much. I would definitely recommend it.

In the holiday season unfortunately somewhat overrun. spontaneously getting a table for breakfast is difficult as you can also book tables. We only knew it at our first visit. Breakfast can be plentiful, tastes very good. Price/performance definitely fits.
