Parkhotel Waldeck Golfhotel Titisee

We were booked in May 2023 for 2 nights in 2 double rooms. I was present for one night. The “wellness hotel” declared by HRS was quite old and did not have an open indoor swimming pool and the day before our arrival we found out at short notice that the restaurant was also closed. We deliberately chose the hotel because of its own restaurant... The telephone availability was catastrophic, the owner justified this by saying that guests would often call for weather information from Tititsee. The owner, Mr. Franz, also assured me over the phone that they would accommodate the costs of my two dogs due to the inconvenience of the restaurant being closed. Since I was still of the old school when it came to the spoken word, I trusted his words and didn't take them in writing. When we left, however, the receptionist denied him that he wasn't in the house, but I had already seen him at breakfast. The lady at the reception told me that the boss had changed his mind and that there was no concession regarding the costs for 2 dogs. Cowardly act by an dishonest hotelier. I have never experienced anything like it. I travel privately and for business at least 180 days a year! So I paid 30.00 euros for one night in this flophouse for 2 small dogs. In comparison, the 5 star Hotel Roomers in Baden-Baden charges 29 euros for the 2 Yorkshire Terriers. The selection at breakfast is positive. The cleanliness in the room left something to be desired, there were black hairs in the freshly made bed. There was a used, probably unwashed blanket full of hair for the dogs. Conclusion: ONCE and NEVER again Rooms: If you don't value cleanliness, this is the place for you. Nearby activities: The thermal baths are in the immediate vicinity Walkability: Central location in Titisee

A shadow of himself. Bar and restaurant closed. Facility old. We were really looking forward to our stay, but 190 CHF for 2 people and 1 night is overpriced. The breakfast is below average and after consulting the boss you are turned away. Was once a TOP hotel. We were there 4 times and always super happy with everything. Absolutely no longer recommended. This hotel is located on the south side of the park road, almost opposite the railway station. There are limited parking spaces directly in front of the hotel, with some overflow parking opposite. Parking for hotel guests is nominal €1 per night. The hotel as an amalgam of several buildings and meanders a bit inside. The rooms are spacious and clean when a little dated. Breakfast is enough. A beautiful note is the Cafetières complete with Egg Timers. They would benefit from hotter water. The staff is friendly and helpful: especially the receptionists and the bar staff. The restaurant is surprisingly good (reservations are essential) with an amazing wine and spirit list to supplement the food. There is a very good choice of Scottish Single Malt Whisky including some quite rare bottles. The food is very well cooked, but quite expensive.

This restaurant was incredibly good. It is in an optimal location and has excellent food. I have the onion roasts here and it was incredible with local meat. I was very happy. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the waiters offer an excellent service. Very recommended to come here for an excellent evening.

Essen ist ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Bar ist sehr empfehlenswert, die Drink Karte ausserordentlich vielfältig!
