But if we go back and only stay a night, we would return to Uaithai. The food is a Minero take on Asian...food, and it is quite simply spectacular. The restaurant itself is beautifully done inside, with both outdoor and indoor dinning. The menu is broad, and the portions are ample. The service is world class, friendly and efficient. We started with mixed drinks off the menu; they were amazing; fresh fruits, and spices done just right, we re-ordered and each had prior to ordering or meal; taking our time to enjoy the view from the patio. We first split the papaya salad which was such a nice fresh way to start. Perfectly presented, with the right amount of lime and spices. My main was the Pho de Pato (duck Pho), a mountain of delicious shredded smoked duck, on a bed of homemade rice noodles in an broth bursting with flavor. My wife had the Red Curry, which was spiced just right, fresh shrimp, and came with fragrant jasmine rice. The deserts looked amazing but we were just to full to enjoy one! Can’t wait to return
This is a star restaurant! The flavors, the menu including exotic drinks! I can’t wait to come back during a future trip
Totally unexpected to find in the heart of Tiradentes a Thai restaurant with authentic dishes that impress given the distance from this historic city to good old Thailand. It is basically a gem within the culinary mine of Comida Mineira, definitely worth the try. Service...is attentive and barman is well trained
This is not a Thai food restaurant, It is a normal restaurant, very expensive based on what they deliver. If you plan to go, please be aware that they take a very long time to prepare your order. Minimum after order. There is no...parking place nearby. Have to walk over there. Is there more pleasant places to be visited in Tiradentes
Just yesterday I had the misfortune of having dinner in this restaurant! My wife and I ,accompanied by my sister in law and her husband who had previously dined there booked a table earlier on in the day for pm. After being seated and...before ordering the problem started! Our table was located next to a door exiting to a varanda , to be honest the door was practically beside one of the guests and within a space of ten minutes employees opened and closed this at least ten times ,on occasion asking the guest to move and continuosly brushing up against him, not to mention the cold caused by the unusually low degrees!! When we complained to the waitress about this she adopted a take it or leave it attitude with a very I couldn't care less tone! This left me with no choice but to ask for the manager, keeping in mind we hadn't ordered yet! He promptly arrived and to be fair did what seemed his best to resolve the problem by changing our table, the logical solution I would think!!! He the offered desert on the house by way of apology, so we decided to stay. We waited hour and mins for our food , which to be fair was good despite having absolutely nothing to do with Thai food, when offered desert two of us chose coffee while the others a desert, which was very poor! When the bill came we charged for the coffees which we chose instead of the desert!! We decided just to leave and not bother questioning it as the evening was starting to spoil so we just looked for somewhere else to try and rescue what was a rare oportunity ,especially when you have kids,to get away with friends ! The total bill was touching reais without starters and supposedly free deserts, a handsome sum of money in Brasil , and I think to be fair we deserved better service and a little more respect from the staff! The food ,well, that's for you to decide, but a special night out is more than the food, wouldn't you agree!!!
