I had sent back and forth with lauralee by e-mail, gave my credit card information and she had confirmed that not only my room was booked for this day but that she would let us check early, as we did not have a chance to do this until late in the night after the high season so we show the day of the high season all ready to check so that we can come straight after the ceremony. the girl in writing tells me that there is no key for me and...read more
A very good satisfied customer from the kitchener. I had my first culinary experience in mill tales inn, mai 2014. others on my party were former mozens. first, I would not have asked for something better for a family-style restaurant. it was a good food, for good value and well served. two in our party had cash dinner; two had blacks. everything was delicious. even with appetizers, none of our bills came to control more than $25 in total, including (but not alcohol). Secondly, there are a series of negative reviews on the Internet pages. I don't understand why. my usual assumption is that these customers had higher than normal expectations that were not fulfilled (i.e. not...read more
Do not understand the evaluation. if I want to bring my family somewhere to sit down and eat the mill, is the place where everyone is going. although we probably go 2 times a year, we had a great time at each occasion. eating is great and plentiful and the big window and the old-fashioned feeling is fantastic. all in my family enjoys very their fish n chips. if they ask about the place they should try it out. I was a one-way in this area and when I went to the mills, it was never disappointing.
Sunday brunch. Built in 1878 as a mill and turned into a scenic inn and dining room in 2000. a wonderful Sunday brunch for $13.99 the brunch selection is not huge, but is pretty good. excellent pickerel, huh, lasagne along with the traditional; ruche, sausage, speck and country-house french toast, pancakes and waffel, salate and desertable. the food was fresh and the view over the landscape enchanted. it was pretty busy the day we went, and the lineup went pretty fast. I have no problems recommending this place as an excellent stop in good reasonable restaurants. I have to make a point to go for a normal meal, except for a brunch.
AMAZING!. I have had nothing but great experiences here! I have gone for dinner 2 times and brunch once plus I had my wedding here! Every time the food was excellent (the fish and chips are the best I have ever had the only negative thing I can say is the place moves a bit slow, but honestly it wasn't a big deal. My wedding was fantastic! The owner and chef were both so helpful and did anything they could to make our day the best! We had a pretty tight budget, but they were able to accommodating it and still make a beautiful event! We and our guests booked all the rooms in the hotel and found the beds extremely comfortable, loved the personal keurig machines in each room, and the place...read more
