Best Tamales in the Metro Area! Try the BBQ pork, you won't be disappointed. And the family who owns it are so nice. We accidentally left our leftovers and he ran out to our car to bring them to us. Today we just happened to catch them open on a rare Sunday AND they had Watermelon Water! Double bonus! So delicious!

Very good tamales and Very LARGE Burritos... Chips and cheese was just that.. 'Chips& Cheese ',. Chips seemed a little stale.. But the flavors of everything we had compensated for the chips... Small place #5 tables... You cream eat in, Or take out.

Tamale House has gotten to be one of my favorite Portland area restaraunts. The masa in the tamales is unlike any I have ever had, it's so delicious (on par with the amazing meat inside). The portions are huge. I just got a 2 tamale plate and it's easily 2 meals for me, and I'm a big eater. The staff are always very friendly and nice too. I really couldn't ask for a better restaraunt experience. Make sure to get a cheese jalapeno tamale, they're my favorite!

Nice little restaurant with 5 tables. Excellent tamales. Friendly staff. Chips n Cheese was stale.
