From the appetizers to the main course to the desserts, everything was prepared and presented with excellence. The chef and manager were very welcoming and accommodating. The stunning view of the Sea of Galilee as the sun set provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal shared with both new and old friends.
This restaurant in Israel serves one of the best steaks I've ever had. Everything was perfectly coordinated, with the staff seating us in time to enjoy the sunset. I wish I could return every week. Be sure to follow the waiter's recommendations. The nighttime atmosphere includes fireworks, which the kids loved. There's also dancing, and the restaurant is family-friendly. A must-visit spot in Israel.
My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the food here. It took us a little while to find because the front of the restaurant is Pagoda, but they serve both Asian and deck cuisine. We were very happy with the atmosphere, to sit on a covered dock, and the food was so delicious! The server we had was very diligent to help ensure my meal was gluten-free and after I asked if she could possibly bring me some veggies to dip in the Homemade Hummus we ordered, she was certain they didn 't really have that as an option, but found some for me anyway! The only downside was she was a bit hard to track down after we got our food and we had to wait about 45 minutes to pay.
A number of years ago, the food at Decks was excellent and to scream for, years later, it was a disappointment. The gimmick where they serve you food on a stove while it is still cooking was now a disappointment as the meat we ordered was undercooked and the fire in the stove was non-existence. They have to take away the meat to be cooked again. I hope they up their game again
I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is my top choice in northern Israel. The food is fantastic, especially for a lover of Chinese cuisine like myself. While Israel has many Asian restaurants, this one is more reminiscent of an American Chinese restaurant. The portions are generous and delicious. I suggest ordering 2 main dishes for every 3 people in your group. The view of the Sea of Galilee is breathtaking and enhances the overall ambiance. I would highly recommend making a reservation before visiting.
