This is a place to avoid, I ordered the worst Schnitzel I have ever had and I paid €24.50. Even bathroom cost extra. Flies everywhere so I guess hygien is a problem as well. Will never be back!!
Hi! I am an international traveller , living in the USA, visiting Switzerland with my little dog. I do speak german) My friend, who is Swiss, recommended this restaurant en route to Tessin. To start with the positive: Food was excellent, the waterfountain outside for our thirsty dogs very much appreciated... The SERVICE was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! The staff unfriendly , rude, impolite and agressive to a degree Me and my friend never ever had experienced! There were no glasses at the water service station. When I kindly asked, the waitress bruskly said: „ glasses will come....“ 5 Minutes later she rushed by us and left 5 glasses ob the counter.... rushing by us again,saying: „here they are..“ Another guest commented on her rude behaviour. she is a bit heavy set, wearing glasses, hair tied up in the back) Before this encounter I went with my very well behaved SERVICE Dog, to the shop where the cashier is, only to be yelled at, that dogs are not allowed in here: „ there is the door“....!!!!! Coming in from another entrance I had not seen this door, indicating a no- entry sign for dogs. THEN I went to the other shop‘ Vitamarkt‘ inside this restaurant, only to be told : you must hold the dog on a short leash... my dog was at arms lenght) Due to just another unfriendliness I said: „I rather leave this shop, not wanting to buy anything anymore.“ What‘s wrong with these people?? Where I come from and at most gastronomic places in the world- the NICE guest is still the king!!!!!! Did these waitresses ALL had a bad day???????? My friend who visits this restaurant frequently was utterly shocked and surprised, pointing out, how nice the manager ! Maybe bad experiences with ill educated dogs led to this agressive behaviour towards guests with dogs- but „ the tone makes the music“!!!! To round this experience up: Above the cashier is a sign on the wall, Reading: The world is an INSANITY ASYLUM And here is center of it... Besides this sign being an insult to all mentally ill patients, THIS SAYS IT ALL about this restaurant! Katrin Fechler
Super kind and friendly service. (Unfortunately I forgot the name, but she was wearing a very special white blouse) Very accommodating, quick, attentive and very friendly. We were very surprised that the service was so nice in a rest stop. Just great! We'd love to come back!
