There's a nice seating area adjacent to the restaurant with a few tables and chairs. You have the option to sit and enjoy your meal or grab your to-go order and go on your way. The menu offers several vegetarian options. We tried the avocado toast and a veggie bagel sandwich, both of which were quite good. However, I wasn't a fan of the hot chocolate; it tasted more like drinking chocolate syrup.
If you're heading to or from Sequoia National Park, don't miss this fantastic coffee and deli spot! This charming shop features ample outdoor seating with lovely views of a nearby river from the deck. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the coffee is spot on! I tried a seasonal iced coffee, while my husband enjoyed an iced mocha, and both were excellent! We shared a sandwich, and we were only disappointed that we didn't order one each. It's definitely worth a stop, whether you're looking for a meal or just a caffeine boost.
This charming coffee shop has friendly staff and serves delicious breakfasts. It tends to get quite busy in the mornings, particularly with visitors to the nearby park, like myself. There are five outdoor tables where you can enjoy the view of the river, which is about 50 meters away. The espresso is great, though I didn’t have the opportunity to try lunch here.
Prices were reasonable, with a 16 oz drink costing $5, which seemed fair to us. As for our order, we chose a vegan iced coffee with soy milk and a caramel latte with soy milk. However, the chocolate latte with soy milk was not vegan, as it was made with chocolate that contained milk. While we enjoyed our latte and iced coffee, we later noticed that our latte had a taste that suggested it was sweetened with honey. The barista assured us that it wasn't sweetened with honey, but the chocolate latte did contain milk. We realized that, although we mentioned being vegan and requested soy milk, we should have confirmed whether the chocolate was vegan as well. I felt disappointed but understood it was partly our oversight. The barista, however, was incredibly understanding about the situation. I didn’t want to pay for another drink and felt bad about the mix-up, so I suggested we just share my partner's coffee. The barista insisted it was not a problem and offered to make a replacement for free, which I gratefully accepted. He recommended the caramel latte with soy milk, assuring me it was vegan, so I went with that. We truly appreciated the barista’s willingness to help us and make the correct drink. Overall, the coffee was decent and priced fairly. If we were in the area again, we would definitely return.
This is the best breakfast place you can find in the area! Service is pretty quick and the coffee and the food were amazing. It was just perfect before heading for a hike at the sequoia national park. They did not have dine in except for a few chairs onthe outside which were mostly occupied.
