Thorsby Family Restaurant has some of the best pizza around. The service is good, The owner, Jerry is a personable and kind man. Definitely a great family environment, as well. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal.

Placed 2 orders for pickup - Chicken Salad sandwich with fries & gravy the second Mozza Sticks. Food was disgusting & service left much to be desired.Ate one part of sandwich - bit into second & got a huge chunk of grizzle; fries rubbery - like they were left over; gravy salty cold and lumpy. The Mozza Sticks tasted like they were done in the oven not deep fried like you'd expect Mozza Sticks to be. Returned the food 15 minutes after picking it up - the last who served asked what was wrong - told her the food was disgusting - she said she wouldn't be able to refund me. She would have owner - Jerry - call me. I convinced her to call him and after waiting 15 minutes she offered me $5.00 of the $17.75 because some of the food had been eaten

I really really liked this place up until tonight. We ordered two large poutine québécois fries, a cheeseburger with fries and a large chefs mistake pizza. We asked for water and got warm tap water no ice offered. We had to ask and wait 20 minutes for two cups of ice. The poutines were to be split with four kids but a large was a single serving for an 8 year old. I have ordered it before and couldn't eat it all. So why the drastic size change? Took it back and the lady said its always been that size. I argued but no admitting on her end. The burger was meat a slice of plastic cheese on a dry bun, that's all! No condiments! No lettuce leaf, nothing but We ended up giving our pizza to the kids so they could walk away with something in their tummies. Very disappointed in the restaurant. The owner was not there tonight so that may have had a bearing and hopefully he reads this review.

I've eaten here a few times now, tried their pizza last night. not bad, they were not cheap with the toppings and more then enough cheese. the burgers are good too, if your hungry go for the trucker burger with its 2 patties, ham, and an egg cheese and all the toppings. sometimes they are under staffed but it is small town so you have to be patient. right on main street so pretty convenient if your driving through. good sized menu with lots of choice from donair to salads and pasta, chicken wings and home style cooking also.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times. Thorsby burger is great. Club sandwich is also very good. This is not a restaurant that offers fine dining so don't expect it, but the people are friendly and the food is good. Best thing? THE CHEF'S MISTAKE!! This is a pizza with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ON IT!!! It might sound weird or unappetizing but it is simply the BEST PIZZA I have ever eaten. Try it!!When it is busy, it does seem understaffed at times, but it is good value for your buck. Tip the waitress. She is working hard. (no, I am not the waitress nor do I even know her)
