Calmar Bakery

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time last week. I purchased fudge, carrot cake, 4 dozen dinner rolls, and a couple of sausage rolls. I am returning this morning to have some more sausage rolls.

This bakery is the best I've been to in a long time. Their fresh donuts are top-notch, even better than Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons.

Absolutely amazing. This is the best restaurant I have ever been to with incredibly friendly and pleasant staff. Perfect for kids, they will love the treats here!

Why get a few donuts for the family while visiting the Calmar Bakery when a dozen of brain/storming delicious donuts will transform you back to an era where the taste will put a “happiness smile” on everyone.For those who think it is pricier than other places why sacrifice a yummy donut’s quality over one being made with inferior ingredients.Once you come here… you will be back!Wayne

My in-laws had bought Kringla every Christmas from this bakery for decades (they drove out to Calmar from Edmonton). Sadly the last couple of years the quality has taken a nosedive. This year the almond filling/paste was barely present. There were about a quarter of the sliced almonds that used to be present. Shrinkflation is clearly present with the more expensive ingredients. Sadly, this may be the last year of the Kringla tradition at my in-laws (as everyone seemed to notice the severe drop in quality).
