The best roast I have eaten in a long time! We had one beef and one chicken roast and the previous week I had the lamb, all of which were outstanding. The food came within 10 minutes of ordering as it was a Sunday one assumes the roasts just need plating. It was hot with plenty of veg variety. All the staff are so friendly and attentive, all in all its a great village pub.

Called in after a walk on Friday evening. The pub was full before 7pm. A great atmosphere and a good selection of real ales served here. I also hear the pizzas are pretty good. It’s great to see a pub doing well.

Spent a lovely few hours with family for a birthday meal. The venue and staff were extremely welcoming and everyone's food was excellent BUT be warned if you plan to have the pie take a pick axe because an ordinary knife won't work!!

Genuinely a great country pub, always a conversation, three live fires, great selection of ales and the food and service, top marks.
