This is a great gastropub just off the M4 at the Hungerford exit, on the road to Lambourn and consequently a favourite of the racing crowd.

The staff and the food were excellent. we had a family birthday with a large group and everything was smooth, pleasant and tasty. I would recommend

Service is excellent, personal are attentive and eating is excellent and very affordable. visited Valentine's Day and were treated to a free sample of one of their cheese with beautiful house made piccalilli after a delicious three curs meal. I can't recommend the pheasant.

Very good service a fabulous eating, also a good atmosphere. very recommend the pheasant inn for a good place to eat a hotel is also beautiful.
