Stanley Of New Orleans - Terrytown

This restaurant offers outdoor seating for those who are unvaccinated (like me). I visit mainly for the gumbo, fried chicken sandwich, drinks, and the great location. The staff is incredibly welcoming, professional, courteous, and ensures a safe environment. They genuinely care for their guests, and I truly appreciate that. Just a heads up, the restaurant has unique hours, primarily open during breakfast and lunch. There's free two-hour residential parking on the street, as well as two-hour metered parking. It's within walking distance of many wonderful spots in the French Quarter.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was both friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious. Even though it was quite busy during my visit, our meals arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and it was excellent! It's a great spot to grab lunch while exploring Jackson Square.

I had another fantastic experience at Stanley! It's a beautiful location right on Jackson Square, with a view of the Cathedral. I highly recommend the **** Mary, as well as the Benedict po'boy and the Reuben. The onion rings were delicious too. Despite being short-staffed (which seems to be the case everywhere these days) and quite busy, the service was surprisingly friendly and great. I give it two thumbs up!

For being in such a bustling part of the French quarter this place was friendly and the food was delicious. They were jamming busy but are right in Jackson square so as to be expected. I sat at the bar and the severs were attentive. These were by far the best grits I?ve had anywhere in the south. Kind of pricey for breakfast but reasonable considering the location. They had a very long wait so I?d put your name in advance and plan on walking around for a bit.
