Kabob House Nola - Metairie

I tried the gyro combination plate, which came with salad, rice, hummus, and a side of pita bread. The restaurant had a clean and modern look inside. My order was quick and the food was hot. I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take a picture before digging in, but it was delicious! They offer a variety of bottled beverages and fountain drinks. The bathroom was clean and modern, although there was no baby changing table. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I never thought about trying Mediterranean food in Nola, but after visiting The Kabob House in Metairie, I will definitely be back for more. The restaurant offers a great variety of drinks, foods, and desserts, perfect for a change from the usual fried oysters and gumbo. The quality of the food here is on par with what I've had in NYC, which was a pleasant surprise. I tried a unique soda called Vimto with black currants and Hibiscus, which was sweet but delicious. The yogurt drink was interesting, with a texture similar to liquid cottage cheese. The falafel was crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, a steal at $1 each. The chicken shawarma over salad was tasty and the kofta kabob was seasoned perfectly. The beef shawarma was the standout dish, with amazing flavor and texture. Served over hummus, it was a perfect blend of flavors. Overall, The Kabob House exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it for a taste of quality Mediterranean food in New Orleans.

This restaurant always provides a pleasant and welcoming experience. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap with fresh fries, which was excellent. The staff also recommended a freshly baked dessert, which I absolutely loved. The only downside is that there is limited parking and the restaurant can get crowded during lunchtime. However, JJ's next door also faces the same issue.

AMAZING food!!! The best Mediterranean in NOLA! I have never had any Mediterranean food that taste like this! I would 100% recommend Kabob House! Great customer service too!!!

I got the shrimp plate, and the shrimp was seasoned better than pretty much any shrimp you could get at your ?classic? New Orleans restaurant. The menu is fun, and the atmosphere is bright and cheery. Really smooth hummus and delicious rice. I don?t go to Metairie often, but I know I?ll be back next time I?m in the area!
