Typically, I only write reviews after a positive experience, but my first and only visit to this establishment compels me to share my thoughts. The staff is friendly and accommodating, although service can be slow. The location is pleasant and parking is convenient. The restaurant is spacious and has a rustic charm. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The calamari rings we shared as a starter were decent but unremarkable. I ordered the Sizzling Beef and my partner had the Vegetarian Green Curry. The timing of the dishes was off, with my sizzling beef arriving before the green curry, resulting in a loss of the sizzle. Additionally, the vegetables beneath the beef were soggy, making the dish unappetizing, despite its high price. The green curry was mediocre at best. Overall, this meal was overpriced and disappointing. I would advise avoiding the sizzling dishes, as they did not meet expectations.
I have dined at this Thai restaurant on the northern beaches a few times, and I have never had a bad meal. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of food they serve, and the service has always been excellent.
Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door and seated promptly. As the restaurant filled up, it became quite loud. Our appetizers of fried chicken wings, fish cakes, and the always popular money bags were generously sized and delicious. For our main dishes, we enjoyed barra mundi with sauce on the side, crispy prawns, fresh vegetables with chilli jam and cashews, and green curry chicken - all made with fresh ingredients and served quickly, perfect for families with kids. We were able to bring our own wine and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The prices were reasonable and this restaurant is quickly becoming a favorite for families. They offer off-street parking, but it's recommended to book early, especially during Easter.
Kids friendly restaurant with very nice food. We went on a Saturday night, it was busy but not packed which we loved as we could enjoy our family time and a nice conversation. The food was really good and price on par with similar restaurants. Good and quick service.
The quality and taste of the food is the real highlight of this restaurant. Beautifully prepared, authentic Thai dishes, using lovely, fresh ingredients. There was a green mussel red curry on special, which was really delicious. But then, so was another very special - lamb shanks, cooked to perfection in a delicious sauce. Duck rolls were a highlight for starters. We did BYO, but the restaurant is also licensed. It is spacious and has a pleasant atmosphere, with lovely staff. There were seven of us and a baby, and we were easily accommodated. We ate here midweek, so it was pretty quiet, though I know it gets busy Thursday through Sunday. Best to book on those days.
