We had a group booking and decided to take the lunchtime 2 courses and a beverage option. Most of the group chose the prawns but 2 of us chose the corn and haloumi fritters. When our meals arrived there was a single fritter with a dollop of some tomato based sauce and a dollop of an avocado something. It was a ridiculously small serving with a small amount of salad mix doused in a commercial bottles balsamic sauce. Yuk. The waiter came to the table, realised our meals were pathetic compared to the prawns and Caesar salad and beef pie and offered an additional fritter. In spite of this “ generosity” the fritter was gluggy and tasteless. So disappointed, as we had heard great things about this venue. No excuse for such a poor offering. The service was fine but very slow in delivering the mains and a huge wait for the dessert. Can’t imagine we will be back and certainly wouldn’t recommend this venue.
I went to Piemonte during the week for lunch with a friend and my mother. We had been there before and the food was very tasty and nicely presented. This time my Mum had the Barramamdi fish which was so small and the chips looked like they had been heated up and the salad did not look fresh. My friend and I had the corn fritters which were tasty but the salad was not fresh. Disappointing as previous occasions was a lovely place with great food.
This is a great place for kids, having a playground close by. I ordered the seafood trio and I thought it was lovely. The servings are a little on the small side. The kids enjoyed their sliders.
Covid aware premises, table spacing, all precautions in place. Great menu and lovely food, beautifully presented and very tasty. Sit inside or outdoors pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. A very nice experience.
