Tim Hortons - Terrace

The usual busy busy Timmies locals stated it would never last when first opened HA HA, wouldnt be surprised if the owners continue to laugh all the way to the daily banking sessions .

As I've said in another Tim Hortons review, this franchise is very much a Canadian icon and institution known for its fabulous coffee and donuts snack treats. This location, however, does the franchise a bit of a disservice. I stopped by here the other day for a quick bite to eat and a Ice Cap. First impressions weren't all that great: the floors were filthy and many tables were in shambles, despite being unoccupied. Were the staff too busy to clean? And then I tried placing my order. Tried to order a 6" ham and swiss -- the server looked at me like I'd spoken some kind of alien language. "I don't think we can do that." I tried to explain that every other Tims I'd been to does it. . nope OK, I'll get the full sandwich. And then it wasn't even ham and swiss -- I was given ham and cheddar (discovered only after I'd left.) And as if that wasn't bad enough, they even messed up the Ice Cap. Instead of chocolate milk (as requested,) I was given white milk. Swaggering ignorance? The kids working the counter seem to have difficulty with such things. Just after me, some guy tried to get a grilled cheese, but with bacon added. It was almost humorous because, again, much confusion ensued. "You want a steak and cheese panini?" "No! I want a grilled cheese with bacon added!" (he ended up just setting for a steak and cheese panini -- I guess adding bacon to a grilled cheese was too difficult).Anyway, the whole experience was very disappointing. Tims are usually pretty good, but this one definitely isn't. Won't be back.The location is central in Terrace, which probably accounts for the relatively high traffic.FOOD: 2/5 (error after error)SERVICE: 1.5/5VALUE: 2.5/5 (good value if you get what you want)RECOMMENDATION: Dirty. Avoid.

This TH is conveniently located, and the drive thru is fast and efficient. Have not eaten in the restaurant, as I use drive thru only for beverages. I visit this TH each time I'm in Terrace, and would recommend this location over the 2nd location, due to convenience of it's location to the entry/exit of town, as well as the layout of the drive thru.

Stop for the coffee, always my go to place when traveling. dark roast all the way....maybe a honey dip too.

Tim Hortons in Terrace, BC is awesome ! Always great service and Im d very well by management and staff.
