Back Eddy Pub - Terrace

Haven't been a fan of this place for the most part - mainly because I felt the service was incredibly slow. However, I gave it another shot, and after a recent visit or 2 I've changed my mind. The service is definitely faster than the last time I was there. They had a nice Oktoberfest menu. Their chocolate martinis are wonderful. Their nachos? Well, I'll make mine at home from now on. They either had a deal on black olives or ordered too much, because they overwhelmed the plate (and weren't all noticeable as they were under the cheese.) They weren't horrible but I left an awful lot of olives on the plate. Overall, it's a cozy little place well laid out

Oh my the food is amazing! What a nice cozy spot with friendly staff and yes again such wonderful food! Going back in a few weeks for sure!

Yes it's a pub, but I just expected more out of this place. Usually pub fare is great food. First thing when you walk in, it's very out dated and doesn't look well cared for. I asked a few questions about some menu items and the server had no idea and seemed very put out when I asked if she could find out. The menu has a huge selection, which normally I wouldn't complain about but the first 2 things I ordered they didn't have, so I ended up ordering a steak, which was a very bad idea. My date ordered a fish dish that someone recommended to him. We were both hugely disappointed. Both of our meals were extremely over cooked and the sides looked unappetizing. My side salad looked like it was a few days old. The server didn't come back to check on us until we both decided we couldn't eat anymore. She took our half eaten plates without asking how everything was and we paid the bill and left disappointed. So I definitely wouldn't recommend Back Eddy pub for a meal.

Great atmosphere and decor, close to our hotel this place serves up a good arrangements of pub fare food with reasonable prices. Are waitress Jasmine was very helpful and pleasant. We joked with her about the Pocahontas look and she said she gets that remark from everyone. Hollywood if your looking for your next woman to cast in that roll you will find her here. Anyways great prices service and food.

Staff is very friendly, but the atmosphere is pretty crappy and so is the food. I wasn't expecting much, but was let down even on low expectations. its basically a basement pub under fluorescent lighting with lots of bar flies playing keno and rip-ticks that serves mediocre pub food...Don't expect muc
