Pourhouse Espresso - Teneriffe

Perfect little hotspot for a snack or lunch in Teneriffe . she made me a lovely little lunch special of grilled pork with egg salad on rice and it was delicious.. thanks i will be back :)

Eventually find the time to have a light breakfast in this cafe. When I walked in, the Vietnamese lady was busy at making Rice Paper Rolls. It is a good inspiration to let people choose from 12 different ingredients (including BBQ pork, Seaweeds, Tofu, Pepper Salmon......) for freshly prepared rolls. This allure made me decided to go for a Roast Duck Rolls to go with a cup of flat white. Wow! There are so many pieces of roast duck, vermicelli and cucumbers following with the home-made sauce. The portion was just right fit for my stomach and it was a bargain to have the roll and coffee for just $8. Although the coffee was not a Vietnamese coffee, it reminded me the time that I had the rolls in Vietnam. Indeed, the owner told me that she came from HCMC near the Banh Thanh Market, it really gave me a homey feeling of a Vietnamese breakfast. I love this cafe.

We got a hot tip to get to Pourhouse Espresso in Newstead to ride coffee’s third wave. Open for five weeks Pourhouse is pouring specialty coffee from the loading dock. The Florence Street building reminded us of a New York art house featuring artwork on the walls and a cleverly constructed stairway. Our very friendly barista is a keen Bean Brewding follower and nearly dropped his group handle when he found out it was us!
