Miso Teriyaki - Tenafly

I wanted to try this spot for lunch and called in my order. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki and vegetable dumplings. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted by the nice lady. I paid and waited a few more minutes for my food. I left when it was ready. When I got in I dug in and bit into my dumpling and found pork in the dumpling ????. Let's just say I couldn't eat it. The shrimp teriyaki was pretty decent though. All in all I had decent experience but so upset about the pork.

*Issue regarding staff Although I did enjoy their food, I can no longer support this place. I witnessed something stated in a previous review regarding watching a highschool student be denied their lunch break due to the lack of staff. The male in charge argued with the kid infront of me and one or two other people. I was highly disappointed and in shock as I enjoy eating locally and ate a this place a few times a month. As for their response to the previous comment, I am 100% certain and know it was at this location as I am a local. It is unfortunate that instead of apologizing for a bad experience, they resorted to saying it?s a mistake on our end as I was becoming a regular customer. I went up to the kid working the register and reminded him that he was doing a good job and thanked him for being there. I hope this place no longer treats their workers this way and/or hired better staff since.

A nice place for noodles or ramen. The pork gioza, salad and miso soup were good as well.

Tasty! The foods are really good! I love the salad dressing and the Katsu Sauce! And the food is not only tasty, it is also presented well!

Just delicious food!!! I have done only take outs from this place, but after having their chicken teriyaki, all others places? teriyaki fall short to me. Simply put, they make outstanding food. Love their chicken teriyaki and Yakisoba. Their buns chicken) deserve equal praise. The salad has a delicious dressing. The chicken katsu though needs some improvement, the order I got, the skin was so fried, felt almost burned. The inside of the store in very pretty, with beautiful lights and decorations. Menu is short and decently priced.
