Max's Italian Grill - Tenafly

The best of the best! Love it's also a BYOB. Cosy atmosphere, very well furnished and the family has the feeling that you welcome with open arms! I can eat here every night of the week, this is my first place to eat! Never had a court that has disappointed me, nor have I ever left the feeling unsatisfied! The portions are worthy of the prices hands down!

Max's Italian grill is worn away in Tenafly and is a great find. We have come here for a few years and enjoy the food and the great service. Max himself checks his customers to ensure that a great time has food and drink. We had the Agnello Contadino, Pollo Marsala and Linguine con Cime di Broccoli di Rapa e Gamberi. Each dish was presented, advised and tasted delicious. The meal is served with warm bread, butter and a white bean in oil antipasta. The waiting staff was on the spot and always there to refill a glass. Thank you. Max for a great dinner with the family!

Max restaurant is the best Italian food in tenfly.he uses less condiments in his cooking so you can taste what he makes. He's not only the owner but the chef as well.I would highly recommend this as everything on the menu is delicious and out-of-this-world made fresh.

Food was good and wait staff were very friendly but the service was Very slow. I dont need to a restaurant to to be speedy but i think waitstaff should be attentive and check in on you periodically. Anytime we needed something we had to flag down the waiter which took awhile.

The food is always fantastic! We'll keep coming back year after year!
