Enjoy a very pleasant dinner in this Italian restaurant. friendly staff. barramundi very nice cooked and covid compliant. the seats were divided and the area is spacious and although there was a series of other diners, it was not even loud. Dessert...choice was varied and very nice. definitiw plan to return.
Hopefully, the new menu can save this tired restaurant. but the best change would be to get rid of the rude male waiter (because his name is Adam) who has given it too long. we know that the staff is difficult to achieve, but are satisfied customers.
We are regular customers of many years and have celebrated many special occasions in their restaurant. we are and members of their VIP Club. we also supported this restaurant during the lockdown by picking up from the order to ensure that the restaurant could continue the post lock...down last Saturday night we had a reservation 5.45 pm for 4 people. When I made the reservation, I was told at any time between 5.30 and 18 o'clock that the restaurant needed the table back at 8 o'clock, I agreed to it. my man and I arrived shortly before 18 o'clock and our guests were already sitting. we were reminded at this time that the table is needed back by 8 o'clock. We agreed again. we ordered our meal, service from our waiter was very attentive and our meal was good. the main course took some time to get to the table, not really a problem, but this took some of our valuable time in the table. after our main course we were offered dessert and coffee. we rejected this, as we wanted to end our drinks, as we were aware of the time and wanted to think that the table was released at 8 o'clock. after this further waiter (name unknown young man with dark hair) approached our gas around 7.50 clock and told him it was time to go. we discussed this among us at our table and decided that there was enough time to finish our drinks so that we can go out at 8 o'clock. the waiter had spoken with our gast in a very rude limit on aggressive wise. I don't know this waiter I think he might be a new young man with dark hair. I then addressed this problem with one of their regular contributors adam, do I think? (duty manager) at this time we stood at the theke I said to adam, I was disappointed, treated and being spoken with so rude and reminded him that it was not yet 8 o'clock. he shocked me absolutely by reacting aggressively and raising his finger on me and said they have no reason to be disappointed, I told them to leave 3 times, please understand that it is not yet 8pm. I then shared with Adam that our main course took some time to reach our table, and I am really glad that we did not order dessert and coffee and his answer was so did everyone’s, now leave’ then he continued to chase me about the fact that my man and I too late for our 5.45 clock reservation we arrived shortly before 18 o’clock. I'm not sure what the relevance of this thing was, but I certainly don't think a waiter takes me to pick up a few minutes too late. have I noticed the time of Adam? (still not 8 o'clock) and to my shock he dared his hand on me and said just get out! that was all so unnecessary, as there was never a hint of us that our table would not be released at 8 o'clock. we agreed that we released the table in time and then made every step to ensure this. especially her personal should have used alternative speeches while talking to a customer, in a crowded restaurant, in a listening distance from other patrons. I have never been treated by any waiting staff in any restaurant without a start-up or so misplaced. that was very embarrassing. we will not return after many years faithful patronage in templestowe living room. I will also make all others aware that this restaurant can treat its loyal customers to such a shameful way. at no time we have delayed our departure from the table. we were out on the road 7.58pm this behavior has now cost them our paragliding. adam and the participating waiting forces need a training in customer service if it is under time constraints.
One of our favourites. Fish for both of us tonight, salmon for her, barramundi for him. Both cooked to perfection. Staff are one of this restaurant’s greatest asset as table service is delightful.
