The fried oyster claw tails were stored in a ventilated container that kept them crispy, and the broth was contained without spilling. Everything was AMAZING! The broth for the shells was incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with the provided French baguette for dipping. The crab oysters were also delicious, and everything went wonderfully with the salad I had already prepared at home. This meal was more than enough to feed three people, and the quality was superb, making my taste buds do a happy dance! If you haven't checked out the Dive Oyster Bar yet, you definitely should. I'm so glad I did!
My review focuses on the Happy Hour menu. First, be prepared for the tricky parking situation in this plaza—it can be quite chaotic. The restroom was acceptable and fairly clean, although I personally prefer paper towels to hand dryers. The seating was ample and the decor was lovely; they really embraced the theme well. However, we visited on a day when temperatures soared to 100 degrees, and even at night it was still around 95, yet there was no air conditioning! It was hard to believe they had no AC. While there were some fans, they just circulated warm air, which made it uncomfortable and dried out my contacts. It was very disappointing to be sweating while trying to eat. I ordered the Sangria, which was delicious and sweet, just as I had hoped. The Brussels sprouts were amazing, especially with the addition of feta cheese—truly a perfect combination! I also tried the chicken wings, which were a letdown; they were overcooked, dry, and uncomfortably salty. The fish and chips were the most disappointing of all; the fish had an off taste and was mushy in texture. I would definitely recommend the Brussels sprouts and the Cajun fries, which were delightful and not overly seasoned. My friends enjoyed the oysters, claiming they were very fresh. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The server was friendly and checked on us, but was hard to find when we really needed assistance, so the service felt inconsistent at best. Overall, it was a mixed experience.
I had a fantastic experience during happy hour at this restaurant. It runs from Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 PM, and offers great drink specials and small bites. The interior is modern and quite spacious, with a few TVs above the bar for catching the game. During happy hour, I enjoyed the oysters, hot Cheeto truffle mac and cheese, and fish and chips, all of which I loved. My companion also enjoyed her tequila dawn and sangria. I will definitely return to try more items from the menu. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. There are parking spaces available in the shopping center, although they can fill up quickly; however, there are also underground garages.
Although not really authentic, this place is delicious and quite expensive for what you get. The Mac and the Clam Chowder cheese were particularly tasty. As strange as it sounds, it works and is quite filling out as an appetizer. For the main course we also have the Jambalaya. It wasn't the best I ever had, but tasty and pretty big.
Wonderful happy hour experience! Great food with decent price and great service. Ordered several different happy hour items and the portion is right on point. Especially oyster and fish and chip!
