The salads and dumplings were particularly tasty, as were the burgers. For two people, we spent around $40 to $60 on food, including one drink each.
I had a delightful Sunday afternoon at The Rising Tide. I made a reservation in advance so we could enjoy the covered deck. It was fantastic to try six beers on a paddle for just $13, or opt for a half pint at $6. I ordered an $11 espresso martini, which was a Sunday special. It wasn’t as strong or as large as those I’ve had at city bars when paying full price. The plum cider from Good George was delicious. However, the food menu was quite limited, and I was surprised that the burgers, priced at $17, didn’t come with fries. They were small but flavorful; it would have been great to have fries included! Unfortunately, there weren't many options for those needing gluten-free meals. The overall atmosphere was quite noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation with friends over lunch. On a positive note, the paddock out front for kids was a nice touch. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I would consider returning just for the drinks.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant. The dumplings were delicious, although the dough was a bit thick for my taste. They also have a great selection of beers. Overall, I will definitely be returning, especially on a Friday night!
Came here while visiting Mt Maunganui and wanting to try a local breweries. This is the best place to get a quick bite and Drink. Service was Awesome with Amazing Team, Live musics and yummy food. Had dumpling quite unusual to find a dumpling in a Breweries, and it turns out to be the best choice. Some of you might disagree with taste of the dumpling (especially if you are too used to the Chinese dumpling), but do note this is a Fusion Cuisine not a chinese restaurant. Try to see it from a different angle and embrace the Kiwi Ingenuity. Lots of choices for the Beer too! 18 choices in total. Fresh off the breweries at the back.
Dumplings were good. Enjoyed the chilli dipping sauce. Curly fries were just warm when they came to the table.
