Rain Bar Restaurant - Tauranga

Service second to none, actually the best I’ve had in a long time. Nothing was a problem, I had only just made it to my chair and was asked if I was ready to order a drink, menu came fast, meal came fast considering it was pretty busy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Management must look after you well, cause the team seems content working here

Ordered the Asian salad and added on grilled chicken as I am watching my weight! Came out with deep fried chicken which the hostess did say was very nice anyway!! Was with a friend I haven’t caught up with for ages so didn’t want to make a scene so said it was fine but very disappointed. This is the second time in the last two weeks I have been to Rain Bar the food seems to be very processed/pre cooked. The first time we ordered steak medium rare but were told it is strips and only comes well done. Will not be going back even though we wanted to support our local restaurants. Not a good review sorry .
