The Grand Central Fry - Taupo

The Iskender plate is both delicious and healthy, featuring rice, salad, and the meat used for kebabs, along with a choice of sauce. The cheeseburger and fries are also excellent.

We are a tourist family from Auckland and ordered 6 pieces of fish, 4 servings of fritters, and 4 portions of chips for our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 young children). Everyone agreed that our dinner was the best fish and chips we've ever had in terms of taste, freshness, and portion size. We would give it a 10/10 and want to extend a big thank you!

This restaurant is a lovely and welcoming place. The food is excellent, and it's one of the best spots in Taupo for fish and chips. They also serve delicious kebabs nearby. Highly recommend!

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. Very humble place to eat in. We were on our way from Ohakune to Rotorua, stopped over for lunch. Pretty run down could use a bit of a cheering up. Halal menu.
