Waterside - Taupo

Absolutely delicious meal here tonight. Steak and chicken meals we’re beautifully done. Great spot with views to the lake. Staff were excellent, friendly, attentive and efficient. They were also really good with the table next to us with kids too. Great meal, good feed and a nice drinks list. Thanks for having us team x

This restaurant is the ideal spot for lunch, especially on a warm, sunny day. It is situated right on the lake and has a lovely ambiance. The staff are friendly and accommodating, fulfilling all of our requests with ease. The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous and packed with flavor. We had a table for 10 at Waterside Taupo. The wait staff at the front were friendly and attentive. Our server took our orders and despite some changes, our food and drinks were delivered quickly and accurately. We ordered from the set menu and found the portions to be very satisfying. The ribeye orders were cooked perfectly to medium rare, and the pork ribs and fish of the day were delicious. Some of us also enjoyed desserts, which we were quite happy with. Overall, we would recommend Waterside Taupo for a special dinner date or a family-friendly option. Thank you.

The food was outstanding and tasty! I devoured it quickly before I even thought about snapping a photo. The steak was cooked perfectly. The sticky date pudding banana split was incredible!! My only criticism was that my oysters weren't cold, but I can't really complain. They were large and fresh! The service was fantastic, the staff was lovely and kind. The atmosphere was beautiful, calm, and relaxing. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

We had a nice dinner out with the family, great friendly staff, nice meals, love the platters and kids enjoyed their sundaes
