Fine Fettle Cafe - Taupo

Kids play area. This is the eighth place I rang in Taupo and the first that do hot chips with guaranteed no gluten in the fryer for kids.

We have had lunch here several times . Found it very friendly and great service

Ordnete the vegan agitator frit with tofu and a soy flat white and my divider got the corn fries with salmon of fine fatle today and were both extremely disappointed by our meals. The stirring frit came with toast into a broth and tasted as if it had been reheated. The maize butterflies were bad. Coffee also not good and we both have the feeling a little sick The worst thing was that I tried to let the lady who took our order know how disappointed we were with the food, and she didn't care in the least.

Hadn't been here since ownership changed. Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of our dishes. The stir-fried tofu was excellent. I had the moroccan soup which was also very tasty. Our server was knowledgeable about the distinction between vegetarian and Vegan and made sure we got what we wanted in that respect. Will definitely return.

We lunched here a few days ago. There were a few vegan options and we went for a classical: creamy mushrooms on toast. The mushrooms were tough, the sauce salty and not creamy and the toast very plain. We did not finish our plates. The cappuccino did not earn our recommendation either.
