Sunset Cove - Tarrytown

The view of the bridge and river is so fine that , restaurants in such places often being nothing but marketed view, one expects little from the food. however the food is a happy surprise, good and well prepared and served italian food and drink

The restaurant was closed when we arrived. Although, Open Table accepted and confirmed my reservation. Not sure how that happened

Quite empty but next to the river. A bit out Of the way. Food was basic but good

My very good friend moved to Connecticut and I'm still in Jersey. Tarrytown is a halfway point for both of us to meet. We stumbled on Sunset Cove on the internet the first time we met up in and have been coming yearly ever since. The view is wonderful and the food even more so. We always meet early on a weekday so it's always quiet. We've met in the early spring and eaten inside and sometimes later and eaten outside. You can't beat the view and the service. One time we had some kind of lobster crepe and you can't beat the Market Salad. Coming back for a dinner is on our bucket list for sure

Food was fabulous, can’t wait to visit when the sunsets
