Il Portico - Tappan

First visit to it Portico and definitely would return. The only issue was service at the beginning. We arrived before our friends for a reservation. We were given water but not menus for a while. Eventually my husband got up to order drinks at the bar because no one came by to ask us if we wanted anything. After that the service was smooth and the food was excellent

The food was delicious and the server was very nice. Service was good and not rushed

Fabulous dinner! Everyone had something dinner: shrimp risotto, salmon, cacio e Pepe, and chicken. All superb

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff.. Great service and most importantly terrific food. Real Italian recipes cooked exactly the correct way. Nothing was overpowering and portions were just right. Great restaurant

A hidden gem in Rockland County. While the menu is limited, the food is always prepared perfectly. The staff is wonderful and it is a quiet space. Perfect for date night or any night
