During our 9-day stay at Anantara-Friedensparadies in June, we were blown away by the magical atmosphere of this place. With high expectations already set, we were simply overwhelmed by the stunning facilities, the lush gardens, the pristine beach, and the exceptional service provided by the staff. The Friedensparadies Tangalle, located at the Anantara flagship hotel, is situated on a secluded rocky beach, offering the advantage of a private and serene setting. Locals tend to steer clear of the area unless they can navigate the naturally formed rocks that block access to the beach, providing guests with an even more exclusive experience. The hotel boasts a stunning and expansive stretch of coastline, making it a luxurious retreat for guests to enjoy. The property spans 22 hectares and features various farming activities, including the cultivation of organic produce for guests to enjoy. There is also a diverse array of small animals to observe on the property, adding to the overall experience of luxury and nature.

Anantara Peace-Oase tangalle goes to the standard of the high-quality resort-style hotel. the accommodation was absolutely standard with stunning sea view also with views of the pool area in which room we stayed. the breakfast buffet was great as well as the dinner buffet. the personal was really friendly and the services in the resort were also on excellent standards. the entire experience was excellent and wanted to visit the place again.

This restaurant comes highly recommended for its quiet location and relaxing atmosphere. It's a great place to escape the busyness and stress of everyday life. The breakfast and dinner buffet offerings are amazing. For full board guests, lunch is a set menu served at the pool bar restaurant. The seafood dishes are particularly delicious. Customers can access the pool bar menus by scanning barcodes, but the barcodes may not always work properly on Android phones. The hotel may want to look into fixing this issue.

As a matter of fact, Anantara can be considered a Beach Haven. The location adjacent to the picturesque Goyambokka Beach itself is testimony to the great overall package one experiences by staying here. The landscaping and eco friendly design is commendable. The buildings nicely blend with the foliage and the beach. The several restaurants that are strategically built to benefit from the attractive beach views incorporate excellent designs. The food served are delicious too. Breakfast buffet Journeys restaurant is nicely laid out as well. The room amenities are quite satisfactory. The bathroom has a harmonious design with the bathtub right behind the fixed glass separating the bathroom from the room. From Beach Access and Beach View Rooms one gets a nice vista of the Indian Ocean. From the bathtub one gets the same view thanks to the broad fixed glass partition. The balcony is well equipped with chairs, coffee table and daybed. If you are in a ground floor unit beware of the stray dogs sleeping in the daybed. Beds are comfortable and so are the pillows allowing a good night's sleep for everyone. Wardrobe has a number of clothes hangers unlike most other hotels. The Coffee Maker works well using the provided Coffee Capsules. Fresh milk is provided. The staff failed to give us a couple of hours of late check out citing back to back bookings. However, we didn't see high occupancy on the day that would make it impossible to allow extra two hours. Of course, we were not happy about it. Google Maps give the wrong access (gate) to the hotel the service entrance. Remember to use the gate number 1 which is the visitor access. It's noteworthy that there are some covered parking lots available for guests considering the fact that it gets really hot inside the vehicle here if you park out in the open. Don't forget to enjoy the breathtaking Goyambokka Beach in the morning and the evening. The beach is perhaps the strongest point of the package. It's pristine and shady enough. Pay attention to the rocks as those are home to large numbers of Sea Urchins that can cause serious injury if you step on. You may have to undergo surgery to get rid of the spines of these creatures if you step on them.
