Delightful place for coffee or light meals, pleasant surroundings with good service. Quality of food excellent. Went recently and whilst breakfast was still excellent I begrudge being charged extra for sour dough toast when offers as one of a choice option to white or brown. Came to the forest rest this morning for some breakfast and we really enjoyed it! Atmosphere was great food is delicious and the staff couldn’t have done enough! Huge shout out to Amy extremely accommodating and couldn’t have done enough for us! We were advised to pay a visit after hearing that the owners had purchased the 50’s diner so we went for a late breakfast this morning. It’s nice idea for a small restaurant tucked away inside the garden centre. Food was lovely as we the service, however we did feel a little claustrophobic tucked away without any windows, but that didn’t distract from the quality of the food, cleanliness or service.
